The Sixth Form

Haverhill Community Sixth Form is a successful, student led post 16 provider. Its aims are simple; to ensure that students are academically successful, that they continue to build the confidence, skills and intellectual rigour needed to be able to shape their own future and that they further develop their own strong set of moral values.

We offer a broad range of courses and subjects (including Maths, Sciences, History, Languages, Geography, Psychology, Sociology, Art, Media, Drama, Product Design and Sport) at Level 3 that we think offer students excellent routes to university, apprenticeship or employment within the framework of a successful and supportive community. Students that have studied with us have gone on to study a variety of degrees at university, including at a number of Russell Group institutions.
We know students are all individuals and need different support and resources in order to succeed. In our newly refurbished study block Sixth Form students enjoy exclusive use of an ICT suite and a range of dedicated study spaces. Whether you like to study in silence, in a quiet room, in a group or in the Sixth Form cafe with your friends, we have the facilities and support you need. With a new £10 million building opening for September 2019 you’ll find your classrooms are also the best around.

The Sixth Form at HCSF will continue to grow, adapt and develop to ensure that our students get the best possible outcomes from their time with us and that they have ‘the edge’ on students from other providers.
